The two men shook hands outside the bank, smiling. “I be incredibly proud of our deal, and I hope thee is too?”, one said.

“I also be very proud, and I believe that it will greatly benefit our people”, the other replied. They were standing outside of the Masonic Temple, and continued smiling as people took sketches of the significant moment in history for the local paper.

All of a sudden, the rest of the world froze. The men both felt their joints becoming stiffer and stiffer until they can’t move them at all, the world was changing, changing, changing. The two were lost in time.

What an interesting way to have these two men conversing with each other Sophie. The use of old style language is a nice twist and you have done it well. I really like your repetition of the word ‘changing’ towards the end of your piece, that’s clever.
Come on over to my class blog and have a look – we are a class of students in the South Island of New Zealand. http://rakau19.edublogs.org/
